Victoria Justice's Diet and Workout: Staying Fit and Balanced

Victoria Justice, the actress and singer known for her roles in Zoey 101 and Victorious, has been in the public eye since she was young. She has not only captured hearts with her performances but has also become an inspiration for maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Justice is admired for her dedication to wellness, incorporating a variety of workouts and mindfulness practices into her daily routine. She emphasizes consistency and self-care, making her a role model for fans seeking a balanced approach to health and fitness.

Diverse Workout Routines

To stay in shape, Victoria Justice incorporates a variety of workout routines. She revealed to Health Magazine that she enjoys switching up her exercise regimen by taking different classes.

Dance Classes

Justice loves taking dance classes to stay in shape. She finds dance classes really fun. She also enjoys twerk classes, noting that “After 10 minutes of twerking, your thighs and your butt feel it right away. You feel free." She has even teamed up with Zumba creator Beto Perez to choreograph dance-fitness moves to her new single, "Shake." Justice shared that there’s nothing like a great song to get you moving and put you in a great mood. She enjoys Zumba because it gets your heart rate up, but instead of boring exercise moves, you’re doing dance moves with a group of people, and it’s a blast! The choreography is simple moves that anyone can learn.

Hot Yoga

Victoria Justice told HollywoodLife that her sister has gotten her into hot yoga. She admitted that it was really not her thing in the beginning, and sometimes during classes, she wonders why she is there. However, she acknowledges that she always leaves feeling better.

Strength Training

Justice told Health Magazine that she works with a trainer to stay fit. Her training includes push-ups, squats, crunches, lifting free weights, jumping rope, and all that stuff. Having an educated personal trainer is invaluable to demonstrate the correct posture and technique.

Hiking

Justice enjoys hiking. Hiking gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise that builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis.

Swimming

Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages.

Cycling

Although she tried SoulCycle once, she found it too intense. She doesn't like how your feet are stuck to the pedals.

Diet and Nutrition

Victoria Justice emphasizes a balanced approach to diet and nutrition, focusing on what makes her feel good both physically and mentally.

General Diet

“Rule of thumb, I just kind of eat whatever I want,” she admitted. She also stated that she’s not too worried about gaining weight by eating all her favorite foods because she “works out frequently”.

Thanksgiving Favorites

Victoria loves a good prime rib stuffed with garlic and good stuffing. She is also a big pie person and loves all the pies, especially pumpkin pie.

Supplements and Daily Routine

Justice shared some of her favorite supplements in her Health Magazine interview. She takes fish oil every single day, as well as vitamin D, magnesium, B complex, and vitamin C. She drinks lots of water, and she’s been trying to do daily wheatgrass shots. She also has a shake in her house that they pretty much have every morning, made of rice milk, bananas, Udo’s oil, and protein powder.

Hashimoto's Disease and Diet

Victoria Justice was diagnosed with Hashimoto's, which is a thyroid autoimmune disorder. This Korean acupuncturist put her on a super-strict diet, where she was a pescatarian, and she couldn't eat any sugar, wheat, or dairy. They had put her on this thyroid medication, and she thinks the levels were too high for her because it caused her skin to break out. Also, at first, she was losing a lot of weight, then she went on tour and she started gaining weight, and it was the most she'd ever gained in her life. Then when she filmed a movie last summer, she actually went under 100 pounds. It was crazy, but things have leveled out, and she's back to normal.

Mental Wellness and Self-Care

Victoria Justice emphasizes the importance of mental wellness and self-care in maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Meditation

Justice tries to meditate every day. It’s important to take that time, even if it’s just 10 minutes, to block everything out and get grounded again. Yoga develops inner awareness, focusing attention on the body’s abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It’s not about physical appearance. Yoga studios typically don’t have mirrors, so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose - or the people around them - looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn’t practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies.

Consistency

Justice makes sure to be consistent with her wellness. She really appreciates it, especially because she feels like she does things to try to take care of herself the best way that she can. She wears a baseball cap when she can, she wears sunscreen every day, she tries not to drink too much, and she works out.

Fashion and Workout Gear

Victoria Justice also pays attention to what she wears when working out, prioritizing comfort and functionality.

Workout Outfits

She loves the bralettes with the open-sided hoodies that you can wear over them. You don't feel overexposed, and you're still really comfortable. They're so cool and fun to wear, and they have some great neon colors. She loves wearing comfortable clothes that breathe and let you move when you workout or dance.

Zumba Sneakers

She also loved the Zumba sneakers because they let you do the dance moves without sticking when you go to turn, so you don't hurt your knees.
