Liz Marie's story is not just about weight loss; it's a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and finding comfort amidst life's challenges. It's a narrative that resonates with anyone who has faced adversity and sought solace in creating a nurturing environment for themselves and their loved ones.
Overcoming Obstacles and Embracing Change
For the longest time, Liz Marie allowed the fear of taking a risk stop her from elevating her career. It took some mental reprogramming but the moment she realized that to get what she want out of life she needed to stop waiting for the water to get warm and just jump. That shift in her mentality has opened the door to opportunities for herself and business. Putting yourself out there, promoting your business, connecting with other business owners and brands to build opportunities for each other is not the risk, moving with hesitation is.
From Sedentary Lifestyle to Fitness Coach
Liz Marie is a personal trainer and runs her own coaching and personal training business. She believes what sets her and her business apart from others is her testimony. She was extremely overweight and lived a sedentary lifestyle. She understands what it is to have zero motivation to workout, to have poor eating habits and to lack respect for her body. With her weight loss journey came a level of empathy that she was able to apply when coaching her clients. It helped her connect with them to create a dynamic and space where they feel safe and trust her to be able to get them to their fitness goal. The community that was built from being a personal training coach has to be the thing she’s most proud of. The fitness community is rich with support and love. When she hosts her workout classes on the weekends or do her daily check ins with people, Everyone shows up for each other with uplifting energy, words of encouragement, and deep respect. Even if everyone is in a different fitness level, there’s a mutual understanding that we’re all in this journey together. The most exciting part of the future is ironically the unknown. She knows that as long as she continue to build the foundation of her path, the opportunities will continue to present themselves. Her vision and desire to help people become the best version of themselves is how she got to where she is today with her business. She can’t say it was easy or hard , it was just something she knew she had to do. Any challenges that presented themselves along the way was just an opportunity for her to become a better coach and entrepreneur. It taught her to really dig deep and ask herself how bad do you want this? Something she learned along the way is to trust her intuition. That idea, that thought, or that feeling came to you for a reason. Shut out the outside noise and go inward, trust yourself and most importantly believe in yourself. understand that the steps to get to your desired goal will constantly change but you must continue on your path. The plan may change but the goal remains the same. She want people to know that there’s no secret sauce , there’s no one size fits all to fitness, there’s only grit and discipline. She didn’t wake up like this, she worked for this, she literally shed blood, sweat and tears to be where she is today. Her mission is to help people move with strength, purpose, and power. She want to help connect your mind to your muscle using movement, intention, and discipline.

The Queen of Cozy: Finding Comfort in Home
Cozy is more than how a room looks or what's in it. It's how the room functions, how it triggers each of your five senses, how it comes together in a way that is comforting and peaceful to you. Coziness has helped me navigate hard seasons and more fully enjoy the good ones. She wrote this book to help others find their own cozy, their own style, to create a haven that refuels the body, mind, and spirit.

A Week in Liz Marie's World: A Best Friend's Itinerary
If Liz Marie's best friend was visiting the area and she wanted to show them the best time ever. I think the first spot we would go to as soon as she arrived would be South Beach. We would Start with a light breakfast at Under the Mango Tree, Then Rent chairs and relax on South Beach, people watch and vibe with the music in the background. Grab lunch at Pura Vida, then have Dinner at Planta South Beach. It’s a plant-based restaurant with amazing sushi rolls. Which is a great option since I don’t eat meat. Day 2 we could grab coffee at The Salty Donut and Explore the Wynwood Walls & street murals, take cool photos and visit local art galleries. Then Lunch would definitely be at Coyo taco, one of my favorite taco spots! The corn is next level ! We could Walk through the Miami Design District and window shop the luxury stores of course, see the installations, and stylish architecture. Then dinner would be at Anthonys runway in Fort Lauderdale, they have the best Italian food with a live band every night. Day 3 I would keep it light, We would grab breakfast at the little Hen in Miami then Explore Bayside Marketplace. Come back to Broward and relax at my apartment and just lay pool side with some snacks before heading to dinner at my favorite Mediterranean restaurant, Mezes. Then for some fun I would take her to Dante’s Hifi lounge. If you want great music and elite vibes, that’s the spot you need to be at. Day 4 I would stay local and head to Las Olas Beach. We could Have Breakfast at Circle House Coffee, then Rent bikes and ride the Fort Lauderdale Beach Promenade. lunch would be at Coconuts, there seafood is some of the most delicious I’ve ever eaten! For dinner would definitely take her to Zabbs Thai and sushi in Davie, they have, hands down, the BEST shrimp pad Thai, you can quote me on that! Day 5 I would take her to have breakfast at Big Pink then have a Spa day at The Standard Miami Beach. Lunch would be Poolside at The Standard, then before heading home I would pick up dinner from Dumpling king, if you know then you know! Then at night head over to the Social Room in downtown Hollywood. They play the best music, have retro arcade games, and have an outdoor area with other games like corn hole and jenga. they create the best laid back atmosphere if you just want to vibe. Day 6 we would grab coffee and some pastries at CAO bakery, their fish croquettes and coffee Americano are a 10/10 for me! Then I would take her to Visit the Pérez Art Museum or PAMM, then some shopping at Aventura mall of course. Dinner would be at The Citadel, I love this spot because there’s different food options and vendors to try from! I love a food hall! We would end the night BACK at coyo, but not for the food but the music! At the back of the restaurant they have a hidden lounge and on Saturdays they play throwback R&B and hip hop, it’s a Millennials dream come true. Then for Day 7, our last day we would just enjoy some breakfast at home, before grabbing coffee at Cali Coffee. Then make our way to the Yellow Green Farmers Market in Broward. This is one of the best Farmers market in Florida. They have aisles and isles of different vendors, and cuisines from different countries and places. you can spend the entire day there and never get bored. I would start by getting a fresh juice then making our way to different spots to try different foods and baked goods. It’s a great way to support local small businesses. Then to end the day, we would park ourselves on the coach watching Bobs Burgers and sharing a loaf of sourdough Banana Bread that we got from the Farmers Market which is also hands down, the BEST banana bread ever!
Honoring Those Who Inspire: A Shoutout to Abuela
Liz Marie would not be who she is or where she is today if it wasn’t for her Abuela, her grandmother. She passed away 2 years ago, and she has become her compass in life. She believes that she led her to her purpose in the fitness industry, and she’s been with her every step of the way. The moment she passed away the veil was lifted, what she needed to do and who i needed to be was never more clear. She will never stop trying to make her proud. Her forever lady. Also, the undeniable support and love from her sacred circle, her parents, best friends and her partner.
