Hannah and Jon Gosselin's Weight Loss Journey: A Family Transformation

Jon Gosselin, 47, and his daughter Hannah, 20, have embarked on a transformative weight loss journey, shedding a combined 75 pounds. The former stars of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" shared their experiences with ET, revealing the strategies and lifestyle changes that contributed to their success. Hannah expressed her joy, stating, "I feel great. I'm really happy."

The Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center and Semaglutide

The pair sought assistance from the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, where they incorporated semaglutide into their weight management plan. Semaglutide, initially developed to treat type 2 diabetes, has gained popularity as a tool for long-term weight management. UCLA Health notes its effectiveness in aiding weight loss.

A Holistic Approach: Diet, Exercise, and Treatments

Beyond semaglutide, Jon and Hannah adopted a holistic approach, combining regular exercise with a healthier diet. They prioritized a high-protein intake while consciously avoiding pasta, soda, and fast food. Jon also received CellSound treatments and addressed his low testosterone levels.

Hannah's Confidence Boost

Hannah expressed that the weight loss has significantly boosted her confidence. "When I put on my pair of shorts that I wore two years ago I danced around my room. I was so happy. It was the best feeling ever," Hannah told the publication. She proudly shared that she has been spending her whole summer at the pool and beach, activities she would have avoided in the past. "It really is a confidence booster to know that you look in the mirror and you're happy with the way that you look," Hannah said.

Hannah shared pics of herself wearing a bikini top and linen pants on a shore in June on her Instagram.

Jon's Transformation and Return to the Spotlight

Jon echoed Hannah's sentiments about the confidence boost, stating, "I work out at the beach and sometimes I don't wear a shirt because it's 100 degrees outside now. Before I would just sweat through it, now [I take it off]." He also gushed about having "these things called abs," noting, "They just appeared."

The DJ revealed in April that he lost more than 30 pounds in two months after taking semaglutide.

Jon's newfound confidence might be a part in why the former reality star is considering getting back into the game. "You can't quit being famous. It just doesn't work," Jon told ET, noting that if they can't have any privacy anyway, they may as well figure out a way to monetize it for themselves. He pointed out that the public still has at least some interest, seeing as he was last on TV in 2009, but is still speaking to the press.

Transitioning to a Sustainable Lifestyle

While pleased with the results, Jon and Hannah are actively weaning themselves off the medication and focusing on maintaining their progress through sustainable lifestyle changes. They are committed to "actively changing our lives" to ensure long-term well-being.

The Gosselin Family: A Look Back

Jon and his family first rose to fame after appearing in a 2005 Discovery Health special called Surviving Sextuplets and Twins, which was followed by another called Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later. That led to their famous TLC series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, which featured his then-wife Kate Gosselin.

The couple, who have since gone through a contentious divorce, also co-wrote the New York Times Best Seller Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets, along with Beth Carson.

In addition to Hannah, Jon and Kate-who divorced in 2009-are also parents to sextuplets Collin, Alexis, Aaden, Leah and Joel, as well as twin daughters Mady and Cara. "No more teenagers in this house! Happy 20th birthday, my forever babies! I love you!" she wrote on Instagram. "Who feels old? I know I do! #20yearsold #ItsaPICKLE."

The former spouses' older kids, twins Cara and Madelyn, 23, also lived with Kate before they moved out on their own post-college.

While the DJ hasn't been able to connect with his estranged kids - alleging Kate has control over their phones - he revealed Hannah is still in touch with her other siblings.

"People might see what's going on between me and Kate over the past few years and think I am the difficult character, but I'm actually on good terms with all my exes," the reality star noted.
