This article explores Charity's journey, highlighting her dedication to health, nutrition, and personal growth.

Embracing Self-Care and Wellness

Charity Lawson's commitment to helping others is evident in her passion for promoting self-care and wellness. Her profile reflects a deep-seated belief in the importance of nurturing oneself, both mentally and physically. Even while poolside, Charity is reflecting on the last few weeks.

The Power of Nutrition

Charity Lawson is a Clinical Nutritionist and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, CT. She specializes in a Functional Medicine approach for creating individualized nutrition prescriptions for her clients. She knows what it is like to be a patient herself and strives to offer her clients a safe and personalized experience. She is passionate about helping others unleash the power of diet and lifestyle to heal the body.

Functional Medicine Approach

Charity employs a Functional Medicine approach, focusing on addressing the root cause of a person's health issue rather than focusing on a diagnosis. This approach allows her to create individualized nutrition prescriptions tailored to her clients' unique needs.

Personalized Nutrition Protocols

Charity is dedicated to formulating personalized nutrition protocols based on a person's biochemical individuality. By using functional laboratory assessments, she identifies and corrects nutrient imbalances, intestinal dysbiosis, metabolic imbalances, and toxicity/detoxification impairments.

Therapeutic Lifestyle Diets

Implementing the appropriate dietary program is one of the most important layers of an individual's success.

The Importance of Family

Charity is very family oriented, relaying on her relatives to ground her. She values the support and guidance of her loved ones, particularly her mother. “My queen, teacher, and nurturer!” she wrote about her mom on Mother’s Day. “You lead up with such wisdom, class, and grace. We celebrate you today. I love you.

Prioritizing Education

Charity prioritizes education. “The past 6 years at Auburn, has been an experience of a lifetime, one that I don’t take for granted,” she wrote in a post. “I’ve been challenged, pushed and molded into the woman I am today.

Transparency and Personal Choices

Charity said that it’s been about a week since her surgery, noting that she wanted to “clear the air” about what she was in recovery for, since there was plenty of speculation about her health. “I got my girlies done,” she said, noting that this was a decision she “kind of sat on for a long time.” She shared that she didn’t talk about her surgery at first, because she was worried that people would judge her. Charity also stressed that she wanted to get an augmentation that felt right for her body. “Even if I turn to the side a little bit, it's still in proportion with my frame,” she said. “I'm very petite and tiny so I knew that going in and I was like, I don't want this to be like, ‘oh my God this girl got her t--es done.’ But really I wanted it to be very natural, I wanted it to just be really for me, ultimately that's why I'm getting this done, is for myself.”

Recovery and Positivity

Charity said that the recovery process was “very quick” and she was “up around…moving, trying to get used to them,” by day two. She added, “we’re healing well.”

Embracing Transparency

“I want to be the person that when you look at me, you see someone who’s being transparent in the conversation and normalizing these experiences that we or so many of us go through, but we feel like we can’t talk about,” she said. But Charity said that while she was “fearful” that people would judge her, she ultimately decided to just focus on herself. “It’s 2024 and if you ain’t living your life for you at this point, I don’t know what else to tell you,” she said. “It’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned for myself.”

Positive Reactions

People were super positive in the comments. “They suit you. They look good!” one person wrote. “Glad recovery went well! Love normalizing conversation about this,” another said.

Maintaining a Balanced Lifestyle

Surgery hasn’t slowed Charity down. She recently attended New York Bridal Week, filmed Celebrity Feud alongside her exes, Zach Shallcross and Joey Graziadei. Even a cup of coffee can be a part of a balanced lifestyle. During a “weekend in the Windy City,” she held tightly onto a cup. Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee - especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee - may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. Researchers found “significant reductions” in the risk for coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure and stroke for all three types of coffee.
