Adrienne recalls, "As my classes started, I started to awaken. It was as if I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It felt good just being in the presence of all the instructors, and every one of them reached out their hand to pull me up when I started to fall back. I knew then that that was God calling me into something that is much bigger than myself."

SWIHA's mission is to help students and graduates discover their gifts and graces to serve others. Adrienne's feeling that "this mission is bigger than myself" aligns perfectly with the idea of serving others and helping them heal.

Post-Graduation: A Life Transformed

Reflecting on her time as a SWIHA student, Adrienne concludes, "My life is so much better, I feel so much more fulfilled and enlightened, I feel a power within me that wasn't there before. And my health has improved a great deal, as well as my mindset."

Adrienne is also pursuing a bachelor's degree and plans to enter the Ministry to teach God's Word. "Teaching His people about health and wellness according to the scriptures. And next year, I will also be teaching dance and fitness classes," says Adrienne.

Drawing upon her studies and the skills she gained at SWIHA, Adrienne is working on starting her own childcare business. "I've always wanted my own school so that I can teach children about life and the world we live in, to build a solid foundation for them. Through my Ministry, I want to help others as well, allowing the homeless and the children with no homes only a place to lay their heads for a moment."
