Wisp, a digital health platform, has launched a comprehensive weight care program with a focus on women's metabolic health. This initiative addresses the critical, often overlooked, aspects of women’s health, particularly hormonal imbalances linked to conditions such as perimenopause, menopause, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and endometriosis. By offering personalized online consultations and a range of weight care solutions, including GLP-1 medications and over-the-counter supplements, Wisp aims to provide sustainable support for women's weight loss journeys.
Expanding Access to Women's Healthcare
WELL Health Technologies Corp. is expanding access to high-quality care through Wisp. With Wisp now serving over 1.2 million patients, this expansion represents a pivotal step forward in addressing critical health needs related to hormonal imbalances and weight management for women.
Personalized Online Consultations
Wisp introduces personalized, online consultations with access to four weight care solutions, including GLP-1 medications, to support women struggling with hormonal conditions such as perimenopause, menopause, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and endometriosis.
Over-the-Counter Weight Care Capsules
Additionally, Wisp debuts its first-ever exclusive over-the-counter weight care capsules, designed to promote women’s metabolic health.
Addressing Hormonal Imbalances
Monica Cepak, CEO of Wisp, emphasizes the company’s commitment to addressing the underlying conditions that affect women’s weight loss journeys. As the dialogue around obesity evolves, Wisp recognizes that hormonal imbalances linked to perimenopause and menopause remain under-researched, underdiagnosed, and undertreated. With these new offerings, Wisp continues to expand access to comprehensive care, offering tailored solutions for every woman and every condition at every price point.

The Role of GLP-1 Therapies
Hamed Shahbazi, Founder and CEO of WELL, highlights the transformative potential of GLP-1 therapies. These treatments are reshaping healthcare by addressing weight management while enhancing metabolic health and alleviating hormonal challenges. For women experiencing conditions like PCOS, perimenopause, and menopause, GLP-1s open doors to improved health outcomes and a better quality of life. By integrating these therapies into Wisp’s offerings, WELL is delivering personalized care at scale and positioning itself at the leading edge of women’s healthcare innovation.
Components of the Wisp Weight Care Program
Wisp's weight care program includes several key components designed to provide comprehensive support to women seeking to manage their weight and improve their metabolic health.
GLP-1 Medications and Supplements
Starting today, Wisp offers GLP-1 medications and supplements via pharmacy pickup or free, discreet delivery, following an online health consultation with a licensed provider. Wisp’s low-cost injectable GLPs make it easier for patients to safely lose weight, improve blood sugar and metabolic health, and lower the risk of related chronic conditions, so achieving better long-term outcomes doesn’t have to be out of reach.
Sublingual Semaglutide
For those who prefer an alternative to needles, prescription semaglutide can be delivered orally under the tongue to support your weight management journey. This compounded sublingual semaglutide is formulated with a base that may help improve absorption through the lining of the mouth. While lab tests using human-derived tissues suggest it may begin working within 15-30 minutes, it has not yet been tested within the human body.
Educational Content and Monthly Check-Ins
The program also includes educational content and monthly check-ins to ensure effective support throughout the patient’s journey. Your provider will check in with you each month to track your progress and adjust your medication or dosage if needed.

Key Ingredients in Wisp's Metabolic Support & GLP-1 Boost Capsules
Wisp's unique weight care supplement is there when you need a little extra help, harnessing the power of ingredients like Eriomin®, black ginger, and dihydroberberine.
Eriomin®
Eriomin® is a blend of citrus flavonoids that has been shown to help manage blood sugar levels and support metabolic health.
Black Ginger
Black ginger, also known as Kaempferia parviflora, is a Thai herb traditionally used to enhance energy and vitality. It may also have beneficial effects on metabolism and weight management.
Dihydroberberine
Dihydroberberine is a derivative of berberine, a compound found in several plants. It is believed to have similar effects to berberine, such as improving insulin sensitivity and regulating blood sugar levels.

Wisp Diagnostics: STI Testing Without the Clinic
Wisp’s diagnostics offering debuts with three test panels: a Common STI Panel (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Trichomoniasis), a 3-Site Panel (multi-site Chlamydia and Gonorrhea), and an M-Gen Panel (Mycoplasma Genitalium). All tests are processed through CLIA/CAP-accredited labs using non-invasive swab and urine samples.
Reproductive Health Branding in a Post-Roe World
Wisp is among a new wave of digital health companies redefining reproductive health branding. In the wake of Roe v. Wade’s overturning, the company has embraced direct, unapologetic messaging around sexual health and bodily autonomy. Wisp deliberately avoids euphemisms and medical gatekeeping in favor of plainspoken, rights-based language. This strategy is on full display in its award-winning campaign, “We Heart Healthy Vaginas.”
