In the quest for a luminous and revitalized complexion, overnight facial treatments have emerged as a popular and effective solution. Among these, the wild rose sleeping facial stands out for its unique blend of natural ingredients and transformative benefits. Ideal for tackling uneven skin tone, dark spots and lacklustre skin, this overnight facial melts weightlessly into the skin and works whilst you sleep.
The Power of Wild Rose Oil
Known to soothe and harmonise, wild rose oil is a key ingredient in these facial treatments. It is packed with moisturising properties that help to infuse the skin with hydration and a pillowy plumpness, transforming dull and tired complexions. Wild rose oil is known for its ability to harmonise and soothe the skin. Its moisturising properties help to infuse the skin with hydration, creating a pillowy plumpness that revitalizes dull and tired complexions. The oil's rich fatty acid formula contributes to making skin feel softer, look visibly more radiant and plumps.
Super Vitamin C: A Brightening Boost
Many wild rose sleeping facials are formulated with super vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that imparts brightness and radiance to the skin. With 9 x more vitamin C than an orange, this powerful ingredient demonstrates significant repairing activity to skin colour disorders. Whilst it's best known for tackling pigmentation, it can also help boost natural collagen production, which results in smoother, more plumper skin.
Hyaluronic Acid: The Hydration Hero
Hyaluronic acid is another common ingredient in wild rose sleeping facials, prized for its ability to attract and retain moisture. This helps to keep the skin hydrated and supple, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The Unique Texture and Application
This unique facial in a jar has a unique luxurious soufflé texture that melts into skin. Described as having a weightless “soufflé” texture, the product melts instantly into the skin. Honestly, I don’t know any other soufflé than the ones that satiate my taste buds. If there’s anything, soufflé is sinful (HA!). If I can describe it, I think it resembles more of a yogurt. Once I blend it out, the texture melts into the skin, like butter. The product can be used alone or after serum and prior to night cream. Well, I never skipped on toner/lotion so I opt for the second way.

Personal Experience
I remember I wanted this product for the longest time. Actually, it came in a set with the Wild Rose Buff Cleanser which I missed out on and was bummed about it. Then lady luck was on my side and the set came out again a few months later in Sephora. The set was sold for US$48, a good price isn’t it? The Sleeping Facial alone was US$48. So really, the Buff Cleanser is the bonus here. The complete name is KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial. Well, first thing’s first, IT SMELLS HEAVENLY. I love it, it’s very soothing and calming. All of those goodness sits comfortably on my nose. I find that it is enough to just wear it without adding moisturizer afterwards. I’d say it’s moisturizing but if applied too much, it will leave my face looking very greasy and sticky; which is why I don’t use any cream on top of it again. It does get absorbed into the skin quite nicely afterwards, though I can still tell there’s something sitting on my skin. Not that I care my face looking like a frying pan at night time, but I can feel that I got a lot going on already. A little note, on some occasions I could feel a slightly warm sensation on the skin after application. But, nothing uncomfortable. On all occasions, it does feel like slathering on yogurt all over the face. While I never used it straight for 14 days, I will say that the brightening and radiant promises are true. I usually use this 1-3 times a week, depending on my needs or my schedule regime. I never tried this not even for a week straight, because.. I’m scared I might overdo it. There’s a saying that too much of a good thing is never good, and I live by that. I love how this un-dulls my tiresome face. Whenever I need that extra perking up, I will go for this. It’s my secret weapon whenever I need a glowing face in the morning. I’ve never gone to a spa before, but I imagine KORRES Wild Rose Sleeping Facial will give that sensation, on the face. The relatively small, though quite heavy, thick plastic tub is quite easy to be carried during traveling. And I actually do, because it’s incredibly convenient. That being said, I can’t tell if this helps with the dark spots. With the amount of other similar products I use continuously (although might not be at the same time), I can’t be sure of this, sorry! With any products that promises to fade dark spots, I’ve never really fully believed in such, especially the ones that promises quick results. I’m really digging this Wild Rose Sleeping Facial, it’s one of those quick fixes, sallow-busting product that I can always rely on. After this particular good experience, I’m interested in trying the Greek Yogurt, another sleeping facial from KORRES for instant hydration. Soon, hopefully.
