The Divorce from Mike Shay: A Contentious Split
Scheana's marriage to Mike Shay lasted two years before ending in divorce. The split was far from amicable, with accusations and conflicting narratives emerging from both sides.

According to Scheana, after Mike went missing, she feared for his sobriety and cut off all of his credit cards. Only days later, he cleaned out their joint bank account.
However, Nicole Arbour, Shay’s bandmate and controversial Youtube star, offered a different perspective, claiming it’s all Scheana’s fault. Nicole is spilling tea all over the place. She told RadarOnline that when Scheana reported Mike was missing, she knew he was with his band at the Reality Television Awards. “When Scheana reported that Mike was missing, he was performing live shows and she knew where he was. He was on red carpet! According to Mike, he’s been sober since the beginning of the year. She says he’s doing well, and isn’t surprised by Scheana’s actions. “He’s good. He knew that she would do this, so it’s not like anyone in his family or his friends are surprised. Nicole thinks Shay is in a good place-without his reality star wife by his side.

Nicole further accused Scheana of fabricating stories to gain attention. “[The divorce] is definitely Scheana’s fault and she tried to sabotage Mike’s live show because she’s jealous that he was getting more attention than her. She needs a storyline so she made up that he’s doing drugs and drinking again, and that just wasn’t true. Nicole says she’s not surprised by Scheana’s selfish attempts to get attention. “She made up those things up to try and have an interesting storyline to get a lot of attention around the Vanderpump Rules premiere. Nicole and Mike have been working together since June. And now it looks like she’s his mouthpiece.
Moving Forward:
Despite the difficult circumstances surrounding the divorce, Scheana has expressed a desire to move forward and find happiness. "I hope by the end of this year, I end it the happiest I've ever been. I'm already so much happier and I do feel like a weight has been lifted. I just want to stay happy."
She acknowledged the tough days but remained optimistic about the future. "I definitely have my days where I break down and I'm really sad about it. But at the end of the day, I know this is what's right," she explained. "It was not meant to be. Back in November, Scheana and Mike announced that they would be moving forward with their lives separately. "I felt like I lost my spark for a while and I feel like I definitely got it back," she shared with E! News.

In a surprising turn of events, Scheana revealed that she had reunited with Mike Shay for lunch. Scheana Shay opened up about a recent reunion with her ex-husband, Mike Shay, on her podcast. “We went and got lunch last week. I wanted to tell him about it in person. I didn’t want him to find out about it online. I was very honest. I told him that I do speak about our relationship, and he was like, ‘You know what? It’s your book. I don’t care. It’s your story.’ And he was genuinely happy for me,” Scheana confirmed on the January 31 episode of Scheananigans. “He’s known me since I was 15 years old, and he knew that this is always something I wanted to do, so he was very happy. I told him I would give him a copy of it ahead of time so he’s not blindsided by anything, and who knows? Maybe one day we’ll be sitting in this room discussing it together.
She also addressed the fact that she still uses the name "Scheana Shay" professionally. “At Summer’s school, in my personal life, on our Seesaw app, I am Scheana Davies, I am Mrs. Davies. “My businesses, my retirement, my will, my trust, my houses, my everything is tied up in this name,” she revealed. “If I could go back in time, I don’t know, maybe I would have never even changed my name to Scheana Shay, professionally, because then I’m altering my professional name around a man who I’m obviously no longer with. But I was young. I believed in forever, and the prospect of divorce wasn’t even on my mind. “It genuinely does not bother Brock that I use this name. And also, I did recently have lunch with Shay, and I asked him point blank, and it does not bother him either.

New Beginnings:
Scheana's journey has led her to a place of self-discovery and new opportunities. “It’s such an accomplishment in itself, but it’s opened up the door to so many other opportunities, and I felt like, the more and more I think about it, it felt right,” she shared. “It felt like the right time, and it was a bit of a relief, if I’m being honest, that I no longer have to film with these men and people that I don’t really talk to that much anymore.
She remains open to finding love again. But in an exclusive interview with E! "I could say yesterday. I could say in three months. I don't know. I feel differently all the time but I'm definitely open to finding love again," she shared with us when discussing her possible return to the dating world. "I feel like I'm on The Bachelor.
