These Greek yogurt and granola bowls are balanced, delicious, and the perfect healthy go-to breakfast you’ve been looking for. Starting your day with a balanced breakfast sets you up for better hunger and fullness cues throughout the day. Using Greek yogurt ensures that these are high protein yogurt bowls to keep you full all morning. Starting your day with enough food is always the best strategy.
Key Ingredients and Substitutions
The hero of this recipe is Greek yogurt. You can use any kind that you like, but my favorite low sugar vanilla yogurts are Two Good, Chobani Less Sugar, or Siggi’s.
Once the yogurt goes into your bowl, top it with a tasty mix of pecans, almonds, and chia seeds that you lightly toast in coconut oil. Pecans are a great choice, but you can swap them out for peanuts, macadamia nuts, cashews, or walnuts.
Sweetness is delivered through the raspberries and erythritol. Don’t be afraid to use frozen berries! If you like them softer, you can microwave them for 10-20 seconds, or you can leave them frozen. You can mix and match any berries or fruits you prefer.

My favorite store-bought granola is Purely Elizabeth, but you can use any brand that you like.
Dairy-Free Keto Yogurt Parfait
This keto yogurt granola parfait bowl is a quick and easy low carb breakfast, made dairy free with coconut yogurt. If you are looking for an amazing dairy free keto breakfast, then you have come to the right place. So many of you have expressed to me how much you miss granola and yogurt. So, once I came up with my own homemade keto granola recipe, I knew I had to put together a post for a keto parfait for you guys as well.
This low carb parfait is made with coconut yogurt topped with my Vanilla Maple Keto Granola, fresh berries (I chose raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries), chia seeds and hemp hearts for a bit of crunch (plus protein and fiber), and garnished with a bit of fresh mint.
My absolute favorite dairy free yogurt is from a place called Edible Alchemy in San Diego. I initially found them at the O.B Farmers Market and have been in love ever since. I am not a coconut fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I absolutely love this yogurt, so much that I get it shipped to my home regularly. This Dairy-Free Cultured Coconut Cream is a low carb fermented coconut yogurt and it is amazing; tart and bright like a plain greek yogurt with a velvety texture that completely satisfies my yogurt craving, and not at all too coconutty. You can also use it for a dairy free sour cream option to top my Slow Cooker Kickin' Chili.
If you're looking for a coconut yogurt option that you could get locally, I know the GT's Living Foods brand has a few good options.

Flavor Variations
- Use blackberries as the main fruit and add a bit of lemon extract to the yogurt. If you like your yogurt sweet, you can add some powdered sweetener (I use this brand) (or liquid stevia if you like that).
- This is a controversial recommendation, but try adding some fresh peach slices to your low carb yogurt bowl. Just a couple of slices will add a nice peach flavor, and you can pair with strawberries if you'd like.
- For a citrusy flavor, add some orange extract or lime extract and powdered erythritol.

Serving and Storing
Add the coconut yogurt to a bowl and arrange the other ingredients over the top. This Keto Yogurt Parfait is perfect for a nutritious breakfast or afternoon snack. Topped with fresh berries and with a low carb count, this parfait recipe is the best thing to kickstart your day. I love every bite of this low carb yogurt recipe. It’s simple to incorporate into your diet for weight loss, or a great way to add a satisfyingly sweet flavor after dinner or early in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea.
The great news about making this simple parfait recipe is that you can simply store it by putting it in the fridge. I don’t recommend freezing this, as the texture of the yogurt once thawed won’t be the same.
Is this meant to be a breakfast, snack, or dessert?
It’s whatever you want it to be. I make it when the craving strikes! Since it has a good amount of protein, it’s a great boost to start the day, but I also love that it curbs my sweet tooth at night. A recipe like this is just a good one to have for any time you want to make it.
Do I have to add a crunchy granola topping?
Nope - not at all. You can easily just add pecans by themselves, or even unsweetened coconut alone, too. Or skip the crunch altogether and load up with fresh fruit. All are good options - and totally up to you.

Making Your Own Yogurt
One of my all time favorite breakfast (or even a snack) is yogurt with granola. I make my own yogurt in the instant pot with either light cream or Fairlife Whole Milk (since it is low carb). I used to be able to find another brand that was lower carb too but I don’t believe they carry it in my area- Maple Hill Farms had a low carb filtered milk like Fairlife. Anyways, because the milk is already filtered I just pour it into the instantpot and then select the yogurt setting and change it to 18 hours. I add in yogurt culture or 2 Tbsp of active culture plain yogurt and mix it all together. That’s it. It is really simple. Then once its done you need to pour it into an airtight container and refrigerate it for 6 hours. You can pour off the whey. I use a greek yogurt strainer to drain it off and also make it THICK. I like my yogurt to be thick enough to stand a spoon in it :) For those that don’t want to make their own yogurt you can find a few lowcarb brands in the stores.
