If she cooks, she will go to Whole Foods and pick up some ingredients like fresh salmon, broccoli, and sweet potatoes for dinner.

Jourdan believes in working hard during the week so that she can play and have freedom on the weekends without guilt. She enjoys going to fun dinners with the girls or out to a bar with friends. She absolutely loves Malibu, El Matador Beach as well as Zuma.

Jourdan incorporates self-care practices into her routine. She rarely goes to the “spa” but she DO go to my dermatologist in Beverly Hills where I get Hydrafacials. She’ll also book a lymphatic drainage massage with Brazilian Beauty bar after a workout when she’s in need of a real detox. She enjoys spending money on a coffee or glass of wine later in the day because she’s being “productive”.

For brunch, Jourdan loves Bluey's in Santa Monica. It’s a really laid back Australian breakfast spot that has the best coffee.
When having a weekday dinner with the girls, she prefers Craigs or Sunset Tower, Tower Bar! Craigs has her favorite steak and pierogi and Sunset Tower has her favorite chopped salad and turkey chili.

Studies have reported that over 30% of older adults experience weight loss, which is more common than weight gain. Weight loss in older adults can be either intentional or unintentional, each having different health implications.

Metabolic Mechanisms of Unintentional Weight Loss
A study investigated plasma metabolite associations of subsequent weight change over 2 years in 1536 previously weight stable participants (mean age 74.6 years, 50% women, 35% Black) from the Health, Aging and Body Composition (Health ABC) Study. The metabolite associations of unintentional weight loss differed from those of intentional weight loss and weight gain. Lower levels of aromatic amino acids, phospholipids, long‐chain poly‐unsaturated triglycerides, and higher levels of amino acid derivatives, poly‐unsaturated fatty acids, and carbohydrates were associated with higher odds of unintentional weight loss after adjusting for age, sex, race, and BMI categories.

Altered amino acid metabolism, impaired mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation, and inflammaging implicated by identified metabolites appear to precede unintentional weight loss in Health ABC older adults. Metabolomic analysis of older adults reveals distinct signatures associated with incident unintentional versus intentional weight loss.
