He’s distracting though because he’s so cute. There are days I don’t want to get up, let alone run, and Jason’s a great motivator.

I’m a believer that food should be enjoyed, but I used to eat just because it tasted good- not because I was hungry. I had to change that mindset. I would literally talk to myself: “I don’t need to get a second helping. Now, two years later, I’m making healthier choices. Instead of Pop-Tarts, which I love, I eat an apple.

It did get a little crazy after I lost all the weight-I think people got confused about my message. But I didn’t lose the weight because I wanted to be a certain size or look exactly like everyone else. When you make better choices, your body responds in an amazing way. But don’t do it because you want to be like everyone else. You have to do it for you. You are who you are for a reason.
