Jihyo is dedicated to her workout routine, training for a total of 4 hours every day. Her morning sessions focus on perfecting her dance moves. A sample training plan inspired by Jihyo's routine involves training from Monday to Friday, with active rest on the weekends. The morning routine includes two hours of dance workouts for cardio, while the evening routine consists of a circuit routine for weight loss and calorie burning, supplemented with Pilates or yoga for flexibility and muscle toning.

Diet Plan: Adapting Eating Habits for Weight Loss and Maintenance

When Jihyo was required to lose excess pounds, she had to stick to a strict diet plan. To counter such a scenario, Jihyo ensures to eat in accordance with her fitness goals. Instead of following a particular diet plan, she simply changed her eating habits. During her weight loss phase, Jihyo's meal plan only had one big meal which she used to consume between 5 pm-6 pm. She avoided having breakfast and lunch. Following this approach not only promoted her weight loss but also eliminated the chances of feeding the body unnecessary calories. Now she trains 4 hours a day, she has to eat 4-5 meals a day to fuel her body adequately.

Avoiding Strict Dieting and Late-Night Snacks

Jihyo doesn't believe in the idea of starving oneself to get in shape. Jihyo hates the difficulty that comes with dieting, she chooses not to have diet meals. Instead, Jihyo cuts out late-night snacks from her menu if she has a promotional activity coming soon. During her weight loss phase, Jihyo limited herself to one meal a day, consumed between 5 pm and 6 pm, skipping breakfast and lunch. She also drinks warm water many times a day. This approach allowed her to satisfy her cravings while gradually losing weight.

Current Eating Habits

As she now trains for 4 hours a day, Jihyo eats 4-5 meals a day to adequately fuel her body. When asked what she chooses to eat once it is time for her meal, Jihyo reveals she eats whatever she wants to eat.

Supplementation

Jihyo has never revealed anything about her usage of supplements. Whey protein happens to be an excellent source of protein. A multivitamin supplement on the other hand is full of various micronutrients.

Maintaining Her Figure

Over the years, Jihyo has shed plenty of weight and now maintains a weight of around 49kg to 56kg at 162cm (5'3") tall. Like most idols in the industry, Jihyo was expected to lose a certain amount of weight and maintain her figure while promoting as an idol.
