Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
In late 2014, at the age of 33, Brandon Rogers was diagnosed with Stage 2 esophageal cancer. He underwent several months of radiation and chemotherapy, followed by surgery to remove the tumor. During the surgery, doctors removed a portion of his stomach and esophagus, as well as 13 lymph nodes, eight of which showed microscopic signs of cancer.
