How to Increase Health in BitLife

- Go for a walk: Walking improves your health. The character can choose from various walks. They might encounter scenarios such as finding a purse or an animal.
- Go to the gym: Going to the gym costs $5-20 per visit and increases health and appearance. If your character has less than 10% health, they will be too weak to work out and unable to do so. Some physical ailments can be contracted at the gym such as ringworm or athlete's foot, but these go away quickly after aging or seeing the doctor. Sometimes a player can find Love at the gym, where they have an opportunity to ask someone on a date or accept a date request.

In BitLife, "Diet" is an activity that allows your character to choose a course of food to improve or reduce weight. Some diets can improve health while others lower health. Diets with lower health benefits could lead to Health problems.
Diet Options in BitLife
- Mediterranean Diet: This diet is often considered one of the best for overall health.
- Vegan diet: Involves- staying away from all forms of animal like products, including all dairy, honey, and eggs, choosing whole-food proteins (in the form of nuts, seeds, and legumes) as a substitute to nutrients lost from the foods not eaten.
- Paleo diet: a natural way of eating, that almost abandons all intake of sugar.
- Low-Carb diet: which is another popular diet limits the amount of a person's carb intake.
- Weight gain diets: involves eating foods high in fats, proteins or carbs like butter, rice, nuts, milk, etc.
- Avoid bad diets: the cotton ball diet, the tapeworm diet, the "clip your nose while you eat" diet, the baby food diet, the sleeping beauty diet and so on.

- Dark chocolate: You've probably heard this before. It's true. Eating dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa gives high fats. Eating 100 grams alone gives 600 calories so that's something good to try.
- Cheese: Another food packed with high calories. It contains good amounts of proteins and healthy fats needed for muscle build. The more cheese you eat, the more calories you obtain.
- Full fat yoghurt: Like it's name, it's full of fats as well as protein and carbs. It's also great for snacking on and incredibly delicious. You can add yoghurt to your smoothies as well or even make it a yummy parfait by adding fruits, granola bars, candy and whatever you enjoy it. Next time you hit the grocery store and look for yoghurt, ensure you're buying the right kind because there's also low fat yoghurt with the opposite effect.

- Mind & Body: This activity can give small bursts of health and smarts to increase your Stats and can even help raise Karma. In addition, they may be a little more happy as a result of self-care. Mind and Body was a standard default top fave go-to activity, until an update allowed players to choose which activities should go on the top for their own games. In most locations, characters need to be at least 12-13 for meditating or library or 16 to work out at the gym or to take a memory test. Later it was changed to 12 for all 4: meditating, library, gym, and memory test. This can be done in Prison and juvenile detention (except for a memory test) with gym being free.
- Books: The player can choose a book for their character and tap the screen to read the pages. They can also get a manga (Fruits Basket, Vol. 1). This can improve Smarts for the character and have them say how much they enjoyed the book. If a character does not want to finish a book, they may abandon it or find a different book. - Martial arts: The player can rank up in belts and use moves on their enemies in assault situations. They can learn jiu-jitsu, taekwondo, judo, karate, or kung fu. Killing someone with one of these moves can earn an achievement.
